Bikes on Buses

Think you live too far from work or the store to ride a bike? Then why not ride your bike to a nearby bus stop and take the bus? The transit companies in our area equip all of their buses with bike racks so you can bring your bicycle along when you ride. Many bus stops also feature bike racks to which you can lock your bicycle for safe keeping until you return.

You don’t need any special training or permits to bring your bike on the bus. You just have to be able to lift your bike on and off the rack, which is mounted on the front of the bus.
